Man I saw the A's ,appear with the Hooters and Robert Hazard all for free at the WMMR Block party on Chestnut street back in 1979!!!Kicked Assssssss!!!!!!!!!Man is itn really 30 F......ing years later.Damn great great times on Chestnut st.
Cool to see - glory days kinda stuff. I found this record at Just A Song Records in Albany Ny in 1979 and played it over and over. Still have it, Very Cool.
Whoah what a trip... An A's record I found a few days ago and checked it out on youtube and what gas.... I used to skate and surf in the Heights in NJ in the 60's & mid 70's. But I never would have heard the album, don't have a vinyl driver hooked up and haven't for years....I was born it PA, it is cool hearing the band rip from so long ago.... I'll post the red vinyl on ebay cheap for a REAL fan... Who's Gonna Save the World - WE ARE.. yaterbob
THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!! I'D GLADLY PAY A GRAND TO SEE THEM, PAYABLE TO THEIR FAVORITE CHARITY!!!! (C'mon -who's gonna save the world!) These guys are phenominal. Also RIP -RH
I remember this from Video Concert Hall too. These guys were one of the top power-pop bands ever, although their success didn't follow it. The sentiment is more important now than it ever was - if you don't do it, Who's Going to Save The World? If only 'they' had listened 25 years ago...
Finally!!!..My fave A's song. I remember seeing the OGWT(The Old Grey Whistle Test) back in England and I bought the album straight away. I also have Richard's new album with the Peace Creeps, this is well worth hearing. Thank you for posting this.
Awesome!!! Now I feel 15 again THANKS!!!

Again, My thanks out to you for posting this extremely rare stuff. I didn't think any video existed of The A's from their debut album.

The Peace Creeps are currently playing in the Philadelphia area and the A's just did a reunion show with the Hooters over Thanksgiving this year...
