The point is the government shouldn't be picking and choosing which businesses fail and which ones succeeds this completely negates the point of a capitalist system. (look at Goldman Sachs, Bearstern and Leeman weren't bailed out and now they're having record profits)

Question. Throug the plan for the homeing, wouldn't the government own my home if I wen't through this plan. And if the government owns my home, what would happen if China or other countries decided to collect their debts? Then would my home belong to China?

The top 10% of earners pays over 70% of the taxes- so take the day off your handouts are coming- but when prices go up and jobs are lost- don't say we didn't warn you...
If this bail out includes paying for other non-U.S. banks - how absurd! Americans to take on the world's debt? Forget it. Mortgage services forced many foreclosures. This is on purpose. I have had to fight Saxon Mortgage Servicer (do no business with them!! exclude them in your mortgage documents). I know of a pending lawsuit where one servicer forged the borrowers name to charge them more. Bail them out? No way!

How is it SPECIFICALLY that Obama and the Democrats plan to "help" people who signed up for mortgages that they couldn't possible afford? Will they pay off the mortgage and just give them a free house? Or give them part of the mortgage as a gift? Or give them a new loan with an absurdly low interest rate? My family settled for a house that we could afford last year. Maybe we should have bought one that we couldn't afford and sent the remaining bill to the US taxpayers (care of Obama).
You are only half right, the american people are not the only to blame for this. These banks knew what was going to happen way before it did, everyone knows that. They made bad decisions just as consumers may have made bad decisions. The banks knew they would get bailed out if they fell under because of this and you are just dumb if you can only blame one side.
