I admit to loving Rankin-Bass's version of Gandalf and Golem and Hobbits, and just the whole paint-like look of the movie, more than Bakshi's or Jackson's.
About the surviving Dwarves I know that Balin dies in Moria in LOTR and Gloin is the father of Gimli so at least those 2 were survivors. I think I could work out the rest if I do my research.
The 13 Dwarves of the party. (I think a couple names were different in the movie)
I got 31 but even if I hadn't forgotten about the song of the goblins catching them in the Misty Mountain cave I still would have missed the ones based on the credits. I always keep thinking of the R for Ronald as Rudyard as in kipling I never forget the Ruel.
Great quiz too bad it has to be done this way. I mean sure it could go into flash or something but then the multiple guess would give away the answers faster than the songs.
For people who saw my Bonus question on part one the answer is before the stones they spent a night on a cliff among the Eagles Eyries.
And I hinted at a house but that is a slight deception because it was Gandalf who took them from the stones(The Carrok) to the house of Beorn the skin changer.
lol this movie scared me as a kid too! I got the rank of an ent! Hey, how did you get the songs??? I have been trying to find the music forever!!! Where on earth did you get it? Anyways, the survey was a lot of fun!
