I use Winkawaks and record it with Camtasia. You can check the spiderman playthrough on my channel to see it runs at a constant 30-60 fps.

I recommend the use of WinKawaks, it has online as well and (my opinion) is much MUCH easier to use. Though MAME may have just a couple of more arcade games, WinKawaks runs really well.

btw for playing purposes i would go with kawaks but not sure on the multiplayer

@daothaweaponx20 Well, answer me this. I do have Kawaks actually, but what settings should I put it on if I want to record at the very least with Fraps, if any other video recorder? I can't actually record stuff without knowing what setting to put it on if it's even possible.

I can also recommend FBA for an emulator. It also has online multiplayer so you could play with others via Kaillera.
