  • Gone! Ya man. Had this album back in the day. Thanks for throwing it up @

    amenhop

  • Member my dad playing this when I was a kid now I play it and my son loves it classic music

  • One of my 25 favorite albums. Defy anyone to name a more singular record. Absolutely nothing like it before or since. Can listen to it anywhere anytime all the way through and never tire of it, always come back to it. So many different-beautiful-crazy-rock-reggae-mariachi-blues things going on all at the same time, in such perfect balance and unselfconscious jamming. Put this in my casket.

  • YOU BE DA" GENIUS,MON!

  • Heard Lindley touring for this album at a tiny club outside Toronto. Ras Baboo was on percussion, and the playing was pure inspiration. Thanks for all the great work.

  • He played IoW '70, with Terry Reid.

  • A true master of his craft.....thanks for posting. I have always loved this song.

  • You sir, are correct. Ian Wallace was indeed the drummer.

  • I love this stuff! Who's the drummer?

  • Thaaaaanks

love that other people can relate!!!!

  • Absolutely great - thanks for adding, man!

  • totally agree hes awesome had his tape back in 1979 had many a party

  • Lindley is such a monster player, and more than being one of the best -- albeit underappreciated -- records of the last few decades, El Rayo X remains perhaps the greatest party album ever made. it's timeless, ridiculously fun, and boasts choice, tuneful covers from all over the place, wonderfully bent as only Mr. Dave could do them.

  • @truthero yea I agree these jams were way before my time but I love this! When music was really music, when artisst didnt give a shit how much they sold. They just worried bout makin good quality music not bout quantity like artists nowadays!
