The most expensive I own are The Complete X-Files box set which cost me 80€ and Liquid Tension Experiment : Live in L.A in import for 120$. I usually don't put a lot of money into one single DVD, I mostly buy a lot of DVDs at a time, and stop for a while.
I also own the Grindhouse japanese boxset and it cost about £70 but my most expensive ones were early region 1 anime purchases such as the Cowboy Bebop perfect sessions boxset, Escaflowne perfect vision boxset both were over 100 dollars to import...they came with nice stuff but back then they were damn expensive. Both series can now be picked up on Bandai's anime legends label in smaller and less impressive packaging for about 30 odd dollars
I hear there are really good movie deals in the UK but is there any good deals in the U.S? Also is there any websites ware I can order Dvd's that are once again very cheap. :)
There's a store that I worked at in Colorado called Entertainmart where I got all my DVD's for extremely cheap, I got the huge ass Family Guy boxset for 60$ the gundam wing series for 20$ and the whole series of Rurouni Kenshin for 20$, sucks now because I don't work there anymore :( And I'm jealous you got ALL of dragon ball
The most expensive boxset I own is Family Guy Seasons 1 to 6 at £75.00. Then I own the One Foot In The Grave boxset seasons 1 to 6 including Christmas Specials at £70.00
Nice Phantasm bud - the most expensive ones i have - the Angel box - 100 - the family guy freakin party pack - 120 but my top big daddy was my West Wing complete set box was 200. Good video
Do u guys think they will start to come out with re releases of these shows on blue ray box sets. I mean, after i spend all this money on hte DBZ seasons, id hate to have them re release on blue ray :(. I rly want to get the West Wing series box set. It is expensive though.
quick question. At 58 seconds, i can see a dragonball dvd collectors box set next to your japanese DBGT box sets. Now, i have that same 1, but yours looks bigger. Mine cuts tiny goku off at the head, but it looks like yours is bigger. What movies does it contain / episodes.
Its the first run of the boxset, the first run they used regular size DVD cases for the movies, I am assuming you got the re-release which has them in slim cases (thus smaller box)
Dude, I would be so willing to buy your extra copy of DragonBall Saga of Goku uncut, for almost anything. Seriously, let me know if and when you plan on selling it.
I like these type videos, and I am in your boat, I don't have too many DVDs I spent too much on. The most expensive ones are clearly the X-Files boxsets and the Cowboy Bebop Perfect Sessions collection. The X-Files ones I got used so they weren't too expensive, and now they are pretty cheap by comparison to what they were, like 150 dollars in the day. Recently, I spent 28 on Cloverfield on Blu-ray, I am sure the price will be lowered soon so I can get credit back from Amazon, though.
The Cloverfield Blu-ray is going to look incredible. It was shot with state of the art HD cameras to boot. For a preview, download the 1080p trailer in the Playstation store!

I love your collection Matt!
I can't help but notice that you have a V For Vendetta box set? Have you made a video on that? If not, I would like to take a closer look on that.
I don't think that we have a V box set here in scandinavia, and I'm not sure if they released one over at UK...
Anyways, I'd like to see that one :)
