Defenseless player or not, Helmet to helmet is a penalty. How many times this year have we seen that call on players who are clearly aware? You can still get a concussion if you're aware or not and the helment to helmet rule is to limit the cases of it. The refs just missed the call. You do realize the RB is only lowering his head for neck protection, right? RB's run through players by lowering their shoulder. If a LB leads with his head, it's wrong, that's why many wear neck rolls for neck stability to prevent injury. The RB did nothing wrong unless he went intentionally high for the helmet to helmet, which he didn't.

Speaking as A TRUE Knicks fan. WE HAVE NO D. NONE Its not coached well AND we dont have the players to get the job done... Its just that simple. Defense is mostly effort. Between Stat and Melo no D. Melo's D is a little better but only in spurts. No real leader on the floor. D'Antonio needs to go along with Stat. We Dont have a PG and even if or when B Davis comes back he is not that good a defender and we over paid Chandler. My team is in a HUGE mess at the moment....

Carmelo plays consistent defense on the night to night basis, you're looking at possibly the best player in the nba..Amare just looks lost out there. Without a pick & roll PG & Shooters on the court, amare is just an AVERAGE player...I agree one hundred percent.....we should trade stoudemire for multiple young talent & pieces rather than one star (cough cough dwight). @EventStatus I hear ya. The teams that gave us the hardest times are just like the Giants. 2 dimension offense that exposes our weak coverage when they don't have help from the front 7 dropping back. The Ravens, Cowboys, Giants, and Cards were examples of that. I just hope Culliver can hold his own now in man coverage.

see the thing about the lakers i see what they need right now is more consistent scoring of the bench. Because when the bench is in they start to lose leads. Also the point play needs to improve idk who you can get but you need someone the only thing i like is that darrius morris gets more playing time because of steve blakes injury. I think he should get more time in the rotation because i feel he'll be a good pg later on in his career and even step up big for them this season.

i mean... the ravens have lee evans, boldin, smith and 2 capable tight ends yet cameron still won't open the playbook up. i knew the ravens shouldn't have hired him. he as head coach went 1-15 with the dolphins and was a perennial underachiever in san diego. the ravens have a bunch of winning type coaches. not him though. btw... as a ravens fan i actually disagree with what u said. joe flacco is probably the most criticised quarterback the ravens have ever had. He can actually throw it. The problem is the play calls. the play calling is so vanilla... cam cameron should have been fired 2 years ago. The plays the ravens run now are the exact same plays they ran when joe was a rookie. no difference. Joe has played 12 games this yr against 9 of the top 10 defenses this yr. thats just a rough stretch.

at the end of the day... tom brady has worse numbers against the ravens defense than he has against ANY NFL FRANCHISE. people still don't realise that. the ravens defense plays brady the best of any team. the problem is that the pats had a top 5 defense in 3 of the 7 wins and 2 of the other wins were highly controversial. The pats now have the 2nd worst defense in the NFL and no deep threats so the ravens can play the coverage they like best... man under, tight defense. just wait.

If we can save the way we handle being visitors WE CAN GO ALL THE WAY! I'm still proud of my Saints especially how far they have come to this point. We just really need to work on providing a "49ers" defense with our "Saints" offense we would be unstoppable. It was basically offense vs defense and 49ers had the advantage because of homefield in my opinion. Both teams fought like hell and it was freaking awesome!! Congrats to 49ers! wish them the best of luck.
