  • Wow its been a long time since ive seen Phil perform anything - bought a tear to the eye. Great man that has left, still, a Phil Starr shaped hole on the Brighton scene. Never bettered.

  • I am told that at Phil's requiem service in Brighton " The Old Bazaar in Cairo" was played as his coffin was leaving the church! Brilliant!! A Starr entertaining his friends to the very last!!!

  • It was an incredible service given appropriately in true "state funeral" style. The legend will always live on!!!!

  • I am informed at Phil's requiem service in Brighton "The Old Bazaar in Cairo" was played as the coffin was leaving the church! Brilliant!! A Star to the end even at his own Funeral he was still entertaining!!!
