I'm the same way with my boyfriend... I don't think it's "deprecating" it's just being silly. He knows when I make fun of him I'm just kidding and vice versa. Btw: Were not British. haha. So I don't think it has to do with British or American humor I think it just has to do with different types of humor. BTW: I LOVED ONE TREE HILL! Before they skipped the four years of college. @ProNorden Not to be rude, but I genuinely think this is just a difference in British and American humour. Not once did I think "wow, Kathy's being a little harsh..", because she's not. British humour is (generally) based around taking the piss out of one another. I was raised with my family making endless ginger jokes at my expense and I never thought they should "repent" for it, because it's hilarious xD It teaches you to not take yourself too seriously (:
