I am very interested to know how true this is? I have found a number of sites and people that claim it is true but no proof that it is true. Either way it is very interesting to see what he said is coming true after the dates of these vids. I have recently had a flame out with some occupy people and his statement that you can not reason with these people is very correct. I fear for the USA for this reason.

@NicosMind True. I called for subtitles before the Google translation (beta) tool existed, but, even so, machine translation is very deficient, and new subtitles are welcome.

@hermitcleric Oh yeah it definitely is. I do use them every so often for Spanish-English, English-Spanish and after using the translator you need to rearrange it into real English afterwards.

But since the latin languages are so simular i suspect they would translate better.

I think both of you are idolizing the word "freedom". Every single society is necessarily against freedom up to a certain degree, because society must exclude certain types of behavior in order to exist. There's no such thing as absolute freedom in any civilization, be it primitive or post-industrial. You could be discussing the degrees of freedom in different societies. Another thing is that the debate will be pointless unless you come to terms on the meanings of "left" and "right".

I agree with you in - I posted a comment before watching the film to the end. Yes, I believe forbidding such a slow "brainwashing" isn't a bad thing, as this behaviour is directed against another person. So I believe this is acceptable (under condition there is no preventive censorship, only repressive censorship is acceptable, and executed not by government but by independent court).

That's OK, but I wasn't even referring to censorship. The laws that define what is and what is not a crime, even in common sense things such as murder, are a restriction of absolute freedom, because any law forbids or restrains something and defines a penalty for the inobservance. And any society must almost by definition heve certain rules or laws which distinguish it from other societies or from the lawless jungle.

Like Yuri said for equality, building a society on the principle of freedom is like building a house on sand. Total freedom or total will in a society is disfunctional. Everybody does "what thou wilt" and therefore you cannot have a single consensus on what "shall be all of the law". You won't have law, period.
