  • This brings back sooo many memories!!! This is so orignal with the organ drums and choir w/ tambourines. This is real...... I LOVE It!!!!!

  • Is this the same angela from the nashville superchoir

  • Wow!! This is the one I was looking for when I saw these classics from Southeast Inspirational Choir!! These are the days that makes you appreciate being a bit older. This is when choir music was meaningful and more than just a lotta vibrato and dancing! Love the new, but this is absolutely CLASSIC!!! Thank You!!!

  • This is how you plan an organ! Gosh! Carl was the male version of Twinkie to me.

  • Carl KILLED this organ!!!!!!! My Lord!!! I am so glad that I had family in this choir!!!

  • "LATE" Carl Preacher? Omg! I had no idea? My heart is so saddend. Such a great talent! He will be greatly missed!

  • We Used to sing this song

  • beautiful but who is this killin the organ

  • I truly love this song

  • LOVE IT!

    dex (zm)

  • i heard that carl died...:c

  • can someone please post the words i can't understand some parts.

  • I thought Angela B. led this???

  • Carl Preacher was one great organist, and a great pianist as well. RIP Bro. Carl!!!

  • I loved this group, the organist had such a unique style of playing. Awesome sound!!

  • agreed, Carl Preacher is a class a by himself on the keys!

  • I wish more organist played like this. The music actually sounds like it goes with the song. He's not drowning out the choir, or overplaying the song. Alot of the younger musicians should take notes. It's not about showing out. It's not about who has the "sickest" chords or runs. It's all about praising a true and living God. To God be the glory

  • That organist is bad!!!! you don't hear musicians like that these days. What an anointing

  • Angela Bennett is living in Houston. She still does guest appearances and is finishing the rest of her first solo project. SEIC has put out some of the most awesome lead vocalist. A GREAT legacy in gospel music.

  • This is Angela Bennett just one of the many talented lead vocalist in Southeast.

  • @xilla01 Do you have Angela Bennett singing it's Only A Test w/SEIC. If so could you please post it. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Is this Yolanda Adams or Angela Bennett I played them both at the same time and they sound exactly alike??? Dunno...

  • all these years i thought yolanda adams song this song on her album - at her very best - angela bennett - wow - is this choir still together - if so what church are out of? -how did yoland adams and this choir come together - great music!!!

  • that durn carl on the organ is right he was my mentor. back in the day there were not a lot of female musicians so it was carl and leo"bubba" taylor who inspired me then came twinkie changed my whole life. choirs today don't have the soul and church in them. it's all about who can out sing and do all that stupid running which have no meaning I don't go to musical anymore they just not spiritual like back in the day of this choir and my church Greater st matthew.

  • What is Carl doing these days?

  • BABY MR CARL PAST AWAY IN MARCH OF 2006.

  • Thanks for the info...Carl is in glory right now but he definitely left an indelible mark on great Gospel Music, huh?

  • you are welcome. he and ms. brenda passed 3 weeks from each other and then mrs. shierly passed this march. now all three of them are praising GOD with all the music theyhave.

  • angela is still in houston attending windsor village united methodist church. also singing a little with kathy taylor

  • One of my favorite songs of all times!! This is excellence!! What delivery by Angela Bennett. After all these years, it still takes me there!!!! Thanks for posting this Xilla01. My joy is yet full!!

  • Angela Bennett smashed this song! Man!!!!!!!

  • This choir was way ahead of their time but man, the music and ministry was right on time. I remember doing these songs. that is when a choir sang Harmony ALL THE WAY THRU THE SONG.

  • Oh yeah, and that darn Carl Preacher on that organ! There just really aren't any words. SING ANGELA!!!

  • Now you have really started something! This is truly one of my all time favorites by Southeast, Where is Angela now? Carl sure did play that organ, young organist in the church today need to take note and learn, "Even Learn How to Play The Hymns and Learn to Interpret!"

  • I think she is in Nashville

  • musicmythang1, wow you said a mouth full. these youngsters today is all about jamming not churching.

  • This is what I call a choir, choirs of today can learn a thing or two from them.

  • You are absolutely right on! I direct a couple of youth choirs, and I insist that they are not a "real" choir unless they can sing stuff like this. They get NO credit for Kirk Franklin and Tye Tribbett stuff (no offense to those artists) LOL.

  • yes you are right
