Use the ag-sys - more thrust = more speed. With enough use of the airbrakes, the AG-Systems arguably handles as well as the Feisar (except on Outpost 7). :)

Its not just him, I've used them to beneficial effect as well. In Phantom, I hit 800+ kph easily, even on mag strips. Especially around 1:22 in this vid, its evident when he hits 850 or so kph that Autopilot boosts speed. Its quite good in this game, while being absolute crap in most other WipEouts.

Hehe, nice vid, i use feisar though, very rarely find anything that can go round a track as easily as their ship.

Believe it or not, autopilots give more straight line speed than if you nosed down (from what I've seen). Plus I'm lazy :P
Uh, I actually use RemoteJoy, then I capture the PC monitor footage.
