@ArmenianBishop Actually its Kyrie Eleison or Κύριε ελέησον. Its Greek not Latin, its universal and is used in most churches all over the world (Syriac, Russian, Coptic, Romanian, Indian/Malankara, Serbian, Antiochian, Greek, Roman). I havent heard the Armenians and Georgians use it though.

Perhaps, more accurately is: "God have mercy!" or, "Lord have mercy!"
It's the equivalent of the Latin phrase: "Kyrie Lei Sohn!"
