This is an excellent example of having fun while dancing. May I use this on my website when we launch of an example of having fun with dance? thank you for your review of the above. Cheryl Williams
Actually this is very much Charleston. It makes use of a lot of very classic Charleston style moves. It crosses between a lot of 30's 20's, and a number of other styles of Charleston, and would probably be thrown in with the Solo Charleston style. Often associated with the ideas of fancy footwork. Remember, just because it doesn't look like something you recognize doesn't mean it's not what it is.
My great uncle was a Vaudeville hoofer and he showed me some of these dances which he could do into his mid 90's. This looks close enough. Enjoyed it a lot.Try the 12th Street Rag next.
This video we did for fun, me and my daugther, one summer vacation. I made a choreography for her and some class made for a show they had in school. It was a light version of a more difficult choreography.
You may have seen a diff one, but I did not make that one. So if we dance right? Yes we did.. but of course there were normaly 6 people in the formation, so there are some left outs in the count. :)
the name is Charleston. yes, that is actually the name, and there are many different versions played by many different artists. which one this is, i don't know
The Charleston! "Buck dance, wing dance, there's nothing finer... every step you do, leads to soemthing new, boy, I'm telling you..." It's called "The Charleston." ROFL... AND IT'S COMING BACK IN A BIG WAY.

Worth noting ezydriver1? Not! These girls are too classy for such low-class/crass commentary.
Thanks Susanne & Chane for the video! I'll your classy performance to my Charleston dance repertoire.
