@oldolds53 anytime partner....well, we need to have a throwing contest to see who'll be the thrown and who will be the throwee. lol Also will have the decide just how high we are allowed by the National Olympic Authority ok? You call them ,then let me know all right? :o)) xoxo
@oldolds53 You are right, she has a great voice. I don't know if it would be healthy to swim today in my pond. The fishes are already sleeping, and if I wake them up, I think they get hungry and bite me in my backside, hahhahah...
@182BEVERLEI I hope that we don't get a lot of rain and I would have to slip on the ice around the house after the rain, we have already frozen temperatures in the nights ....
Nice to hear that you seem to like Dalida too .... and of course Gilbert Bécaud... :-)
Splendid idea , how could i forget !! I'll send them by this .
But for heavy rainy day's , you'll need also some boots. I can recommend the Dubarry boots .( watch it on YT ) , i have only one pair , so unfortunately i can't lend them out . xoxo
@182BEVERLEI When I think of boots and mud and water, I remember a neighbour I had. She had a water-pipe burst in her cellar in deep winter, the cellar was filled half a meter with cold water. She got hot water from us to fill her fisherman's boots, then she sliped in, and with this warm water-filled boots she was going in the cold water in the cellar to turn of the water pipe. With this trick to hold her feet warm, she didn't get any cold. I have learned a lot from her .... ULI xoxo
Must have been quite a sight !! Once i felt into a knee-deep pond with my Dubarry's . After pouring them out , i had to leave with wet socks and pants in my boots for a couple of hours. My feet stayed warm , because the boots are made from extra thick leather.
Perhaps we should start to singing in the rain , as the song suggests . Open your striped umbrella ( 0:35 ) my dear , and sing along "Le Jour où la Pluie Viendra"...In duet i bet we can outrival Gilbert., hahahha....
WE HAD THIS OVER HERE IN 1958 AND IT WAS SUNG BY JANE MORGAN..THIS GIRL HAS A VERY NICE VOICE. I LIKE IT!! GOOD ONE SWEETS. XOXOXO

No wonder you hearded this by the French/Italian/Egyptian singer Dalida. It was written by Gilbert Bécaud.
If it's raining for day's , maybe you doesn't need the pond for swimming , haha...
