On another note, it actually is racist. We aren't closing Ellis Island because the majority of immigrants are Anglo Saxon white/Caucasian. And dealt with the issue? Sandstorm repeated over and over again about probable cause. The law does nothing in this case. If you don't have legal identification and you are pulled over, you will get reported to INS.

The idea that the constitution can be overlooked to enact legislation against Mexicans is not a new one. It's a big part of the reason there's a federal ban on marijuana (which by the way contributes heavily to crime rates in Mexico thus encouraging people to escape.) We need to make it easier to immigrate here legally and educate oneself so that immigrants who want better for their families are safe and not just taking jobs, but creating them.

This whole debate is already to far to the right. As an AZ citizen, I really don't feel like illegal immigrants affect my life. I honestly don't see a problem, I just hear about a problem. If someone is going to steal from me assault me, or kill me, I'd put my money on it being another US citizen. Immigrants are already low profile. Staying in the US is priority #1 for them, they don't jeopardize it.
