  • i connected the peg to the shaft but it wobbles and the engine shakes

  • @MacsCanfly u have to turn it on a lathe:)

  • I use plywood to mount motors too, and I've never had a problem with it. It's alot easier than welding up a mount. It's quicker, too!

  • @tomcatfranks yup yos houldent have a problem with plywood i never used it because i suck at wood work

  • nice build :) wouldnt have used wood though

  • There are a lot of similar designs, but it looks like a clean build. BMX is a good choice. They handle fast and have strong wheels.

  • can you give me your plans to how to put it on and where did you get your engine and how much

  • go to instructables and put in engine bmx into search and there are lots of plans there, got the engine from a leafblower on ebay, £30, its got no clutch though, try a strimmer (weedwhacker) engine

  • @samharrison94

30 MPH u kidding me dude

  • this is iron pegy 38mm/10-14mm BMX?

  • it is a peice of steel tubing with a plug in one end that has a hole milled into it to fit on a lathe

  • Great build, nice music choice too.

  • i used to have one of these, put the engine on my little sisters old 16'' bmx haha theyre so much fun. chewed through a tyre every 2-3 weeks though

  • does it have enough friction to go up hills too? great work dave.
