This is very strange. I don't think a proper investigation was done about this case.

Proper investigation means to watch other video angles (f.e. "Ophélie-video") where you could see record of the next camera position. On the other hand, that part of the sidewalk is an arcade and later (what you adverted to) she walked out of it and was hidden by columns for this camera.

Hum... You're right. But even so it's a tragedy and the truth must be found to bring some closure to the family and friends, and to anyone really. The danger of someone disappearing without a trace is out there.

You can see her walk ot of the arcade at 0.40. She's beyond the man standing next to columns.
