Seriously, I did not listen to this tune for 6 months, and now I listen to it again, and yes, I agree with myself: this is really a good mix, and I mean really good. Amazing! It never charted, it enjoys it's obscurity, but oh so unrightly.
it had the right sound at the time (IE: The sotck atkin and waterman) although it was produced by someone else, but it wasn't given the promotion it needed, I guess the record company didn't push it, thinking it would get enough attention on its own becasue she was famous, but it didn't get the air play or on TOTP
why oh why is this not available on a cd single or even on some German cd compilation. I will never understand it....This is by far one of the best Hi-Nrg song from the early 90s. Wonderful production, strong vocals.
Massive sampling, tons of synthetizer, heights and lows, huge chorus and sax - does it work with Michaela? Not chartwise, so no new Sonia, Kylie, Donna and other lookalikes. BUT, I like it a lot, a great happy tune from the late 80'ies that does not wear off with time!
I met her once back in the 90's when she had been starring as Peter Pan at the Richmond Theatre, my friend was working back stage.
Michaela Strachan would go to the pub across the road after the show and i met her and told her how much i loved this song and that i had bought it, and she laughed and said " well your about the only one who did buy it! "
Really lovely lady.
I still love the song too. Reminds me of happy carefree days, i remember it being played alot in my local gay pub! :)
This track (which I think came out in 1990) was produced by Ralf Rene Maue (not Stock Aitken Waterman) who had been behind the phenomenal success of the London Boys in the late 80's. The style of this song is similar to the London Boys hit 'Chapel Of Love' which also was released in 1990.
This is actually not SAW or PWL - it is a Ralph Rene Maue production (same as London Boys and some Sinitta tracks) - they all sound great with amazing production values
Wow! Fantastic upload man. Thanks. I've never heard the extended version before. I do wish this song made it to the top of the charts like some other S/A/W or PWL songs of the time. (It didnt deserve just a 66 on the charts)
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this? :D
@TheMscrp I never knew there was an album out?????????? What is the track listing and Cat No??

This one of the best eurodisco songs ever of the late 80´s style. It is unbeliveble how this song never reached the high positions on the charts.
Magic song...
