I think I understand this.I get the first bit about converting fractions to decimals.I understand the second bit about the decimal being 3 spaces behind the number so it is a thousand but what if there is a number in front of the decimal?and it`s not 0.something but say 3.5?

@yusufthebest thats super easy least common multiple the easiest way to find it is get the two numbers you want right lets say 4 and 6 now for the 4 do 1x4,2x4,3x4,4x4,5x4 and so on ... ok now do the same thing for 6 ..... 1x6, 2x6,3x6 ..... ok the first answer to be common is your answer which is [12 LCM] hes got plenty of vids showing this

Where was he when I was in elementary school(not born yet).50 some odd years later, and I finally get this. Don't know why those teachers back then couldn't do this simple explaination.
