love the product for everything. Though I have to say...as a woman with long dreads, it leaves my hair a bit "gummy". Maybe I need to try a cider vinegar rinse after i shampo.??
@ladyjam1900 Ya, but have you tried others like the shakakai? I don't remember which one it was but the shakakai was better for hair than the castile soaps. Maybe see makeupalley.
lol great commercial. I am going to try this magic soap, namely bc i need a residue free shampoo for my baby locs ( does this clean buildup and do u consider it residue free? Anyway, if i dont like it on my hair, i have 17 other uses for it. Can't go wrong w. options. x
@ssikmoi88 I can tell you that this soap is fabulous. Dilute it a lot. It doesn't dry out your hair, but it cleans it really good. I use the peppermint...it stimulates your scalp. And she is right...the label makes crazy and interesting reading. But the man definitely knew his soap.
@blkchk I have the babymild and it works well. I use it to wsh and for my face. I have tried it on my hair too and waiting to finish my mane n tail. The writing on it is cool, so far its about the bible.. x
I dilute mines, it lasts along time, i have the almond, peppermint and the eucalyptus, i brush my teeth with the peppermint, just a little drop because it does foam alot lol! after that i gargle with mouth wash because the after taste is not so good, but its not over whelming, to dilute i get a little spray bottle put some bronners and water in it before washing my hair,i cant tell u how much i just judge it, shake and spray easier too, the peppermint can burn your eyes, so becareful....
Its is really good soap... but i did not know you could brush your teeth with!!! I been use it a couple months now!!! and now I don't use any other soap now but Dr Bonners
Has anyone used the soap bars? I got a couple when I went to the US as I was afraid the bottle with the liquid stuff would burst in the suitcase (you know airports treat your luggage like sacks of potatoes). Anywho, have you tried the bars???
@mrsotter19 I've tried the bars. They're really good too, but mine seem to go too fast - don't last as long as the liquid kind; I think I generally use too much soap anyway though.
@EversBaByGirl Hey, thank you for the input. Yes, agree about the bars. I found my hubby doesn't put it back on the soap dish so water out of the shower was hitting it and rducing it ti bits :-( Now I keep the soap away from him (he,he) and use it on baby. I only use it a bit at a time though. NOTE: I tried the soap bar on my hair and it left my hair like straw. However, it works great on baby's. Go figure o_O
Saponified (soap-afied) veggie oils are reeeeeeally good for your skin and the environment (down the drain). Please know this organization gets ingredients from Israel. Try Shea Butter soap - it's 10x more luxurious than this Olive Oil/Coconut Oil soap. I used to use Dr. B's soaps for years but I found Shea Butter soap instead.
this was 99% entertaining and helpful...except for the 1% of misinformation....the product isn't called dr. bonnor's....it.s actually....DR. BRONNER'S!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive used this soap since 16.. I use it caked as a mask and have pretty amazing skin, if I do say so. You can buy it by the gallon. I have used them all but love peppermint best.
Peppermint IS the best. Sal Suds is good too by Dr. Bronners. I concur that DB is a good product! funny to see a post dedicated to this product! LOL! Thanks!
I love, love! Dr. Bonnor's Castille Soap, also an I use it for everything. My mother came over a few weeks ago angd she asked me what was I using ,she loved the smell of Dr. Bonnor's Castille Soap. So now she is using it too.

haha @ 1:58 oohoooo part. Girl you need to conserve water by fill one side of basin with soap water and the other with clean water for rinsing.

@MrGulele
I totally agree with conserving water! I was thinking the same thing.

Ha ha ha, great review, very entertaining.
Have you used this on your hair? I've heard it can leave a residue when used on hair. Also what sized bottle was that and how long did it last you?
Thanks :-)
