So you think PETA should be more conscious of their privilege? I think the wealthy should be more conscious of their privilege and the way in which the companies that provide these fur coats acquire the pelts in the first place. How about not wearing a helpless and defenseless animal that is mutilated while alive? How about using some of that wealth to ensure that these animals aren't exploited and treated in a completely barbaric manner before, during, and after death.
