Anotherwards, the mother needed to hold her baby in her arms continuously. The warms from the mother keeps the baby alive. Good to know there are still miracles in the world. I was born at 520 grams 4 months premature, and I'm just as normal as can be ( on a physical note, who knows what normal is on an emotional view).
The only side affects of being such a premature baby is that when I'm sick it lasts for a long time or can become aggressive if not properly treated, and I have sensitive ears.
Wish all the best for the mom and her baby! Don't let the doctors determine your babies fate/health, let god do that.

sounds to me like the idiot doctors who pronounced her dead in the first place and sent her to the morgue to be frozen were the ones that killed her because if she had been properly tended to she might have made it. If the poor lil thing can survive being refrigerated for 5 hours she probably would have survived long enough to gain enough weight and grow enough to increase her odds. But some stupid doctor or nurse pronounced her dead and thus she is dead cause she was not taken care of right.
It's not the first time, maybe it is the same thing that happened to those people that appear dead for all intense purposes. Later they go to burry them and find they are still alive. It's awufl for them because they are alive and cannot tell the others that they are experiencing being burried. It does happen, that all the vital signs show the person is dead but the person eventually recovers. That is probably what happened here.

They didn;t keave the child unattended, it must have been just born premature and it probably died still in the hospital. People die at hospitals all the time and they were probably bringing another body into the refridgerator and saw the baby move or heard it cry.

Yes there is. When adults are asphyxiated they hyperventilate, breath more, but newborns don't. When they are deprived of air their breathing is just inhibited for a short amount of time. They would stop breathing and start again sometimes after several minutes. This happens because when the part of a baby's brain that deals with normal breathing is shut off another part of the brain takes over to jump start the heart and lungs.
Well say the baby was air deprived and then put in a cold environment before their brain could switch gears, their skin would cool down which would cool down the blood which would cool down the brain. Once the brain cools down their metabolic rate would cool down. The baby would appear completely dead. Blood flow would only be directed to essential organs so the skin would be blue and cold and they wouldn't be breathing either.
Any pulse would be indistinguishable. Anyone would think they were dead. Now a baby couldn't survive in a condition like this for very long. Maybe a few hours. Maybe. Baby's can't shiver so they can't warm themselves up. Someone has to warm them up in order for their brain to assume normal functions without brain damage or other harms including death.

sounds to me like the idiot doctors who pronounced her dead in the first place and sent her to the morgue to be frozen were the ones that killed her because if she had been properly tended to she might have made it. If the poor lil thing can survive being refrigerated for 5 hours she probably would have survived long enough to gain enough weight and grow enough to increase her odds. But some stupid doctor or nurse pronounced her dead and thus she is dead cause she was not taken care of right.

It's not the first time, maybe it is the same thing that happened to those people that appear dead for all intense purposes. Later they go to burry them and find they are still alive. It's awufl for them because they are alive and cannot tell the others that they are experiencing being burried. It does happen, that all the vital signs show the person is dead but the person eventually recovers. That is probably what happened here.

This is why, no one can take a Dr's word on things for sure. Especially when it comes to life or death. They have been wrong to many times. So, oh well to them. And what a pity for that lil one. I feel very sick over this. She wanted to live so bad.

@iRavenTM Of COURSE the baby was mispronounced. Because people have never came back after being dead for seconds, minutes, or even hours before. Hospitals are usually beyond careful with babies. And it's not like they said 'Yep. Dead.' and it was magically teleported down to the refrigerator. Someone moved the child.
Yes, it could have been a case of being mispronounced, and if it was, it was a mistake. Mistakes happen all the time, sadly. Like the doctor doesn't feel horrible, if it was?

THAT is how it is done! If the "fetus" is NOT believed to be "viable" to the Dr. it is immediately placed in a steel pail and discarded as medical waste, sometimes, most times the fetus is still moving. The parents are told that, they are very sorry to inform them , but the baby did not make it.

Or maybe the Lord had it to be like that. At least the mother got to heaer her baby that she bonded with for nine months cry. Sad though, . she looks so young and heart broken. Hope her husband supports and comfort her

They didn;t keave the child unattended, it must have been just born premature and it probably died still in the hospital. People die at hospitals all the time and they were probably bringing another body into the refridgerator and saw the baby move or heard it cry.

Yes there is. When adults are asphyxiated they hyperventilate, breath more, but newborns don't. When they are deprived of air their breathing is just inhibited for a short amount of time. They would stop breathing and start again sometimes after several minutes. This happens because when the part of a baby's brain that deals with normal breathing is shut off another part of the brain takes over to jump start the heart and lungs.

So what does this have to do with being froozen?
Well say the baby was air deprived and then put in a cold environment before their brain could switch gears, their skin would cool down which would cool down the blood which would cool down the brain. Once the brain cools down their metabolic rate would cool down. The baby would appear completely dead. Blood flow would only be directed to essential organs so the skin would be blue and cold and they wouldn't be breathing either.

Any pulse would be indistinguishable. Anyone would think they were dead. Now a baby couldn't survive in a condition like this for very long. Maybe a few hours. Maybe. Baby's can't shiver so they can't warm themselves up. Someone has to warm them up in order for their brain to assume normal functions without brain damage or other harms including death.
