I understand where you're coming from. However, I am all about the adventure, and that it was! We had a blast and I would do it again and again! The fish we experienced were anything but dead....full of fight! Thanks for the props on the video. It's always good to hear when others enjoy your work.
I don't care how good the fishing is. I hate snakes and that canyon is filled with Rattlesnakes. I am just to big of a wimp ha-ha! I also wouldn't go to that much effort for a cutthroat. They are native and pretty but they fight like they are almost dead. I would rather catch a brown or rainbow any day. Great video though! I will watch this again. It would be a great adventure for sure!
I've hiked down and up that trail about 50 times. I dont recomend trying it in wading boots(trust me) The fishings really good upstream from Bitch Creek,unfortunately you can only go so far. Theres some real hogs in the valley section as well.
