The BLM's argument was ready for their opposition and made the CF appear almost incompetent in their presentation before they'd finished tearing their arguments apart one by one, point by point and then some. It'd been heartbreaking for me to read it. Knowing soon after I'd read the first couple paragraphs from the BLM Any Judge really wouldn't have any legal choice but to deny Cloud et. al. this injunction. It'd not been shown in court. Don't know if it'd been available or allowed in court, or what. I've still got 2 docs. left to read from the designated observer. I was shocked knowing they'd not seen fit to grant this desired injunction by the CF. Right up until I'd read the BLM arguments. Wow! Well, yes is what I'd thought before I'd started to read the presented information from the BLM. As I'd seen it from the judges point of view,... The presented material by the BLM was to put it mildly, "genius." Past losses in the courts that the Cloud Foundation had in the past seemed to outweigh anything new that the CF. might present today for the current complaint before the court. I'd been shocked at some of the video footage I watched. Very professional in it's presentation. To be cont.

They'd used past court decisions in order to base their final judgments. I'd not been present at the hearing in court. However today I sat and read the entirety of both sides arguments before the courts. It was a well presented case from the Cloud Foundation and I forget the name of the Rescue named in the suit. These were the onces who'd tried to act responsibly for this wild herd who's genetic diversity from other herds should've been enough for anyone to grant this injunction. A good fight?

Hi there, And no, you were not mistaken at all. The mustangs protection was to be overseen by the,.... ? You guessed it, the BLM and the NEPA. However in the courts that heard arguments from both sides on the subject to grant the people representing Cloud an injunction, allowing more time to get all the documentation together to ensure Cloud and his band wouldn't be captured in the gather. The BLM did some very creative sidesteppin' along with outright lying to plead their case. to be cont....

Today Sept. 7, 2009 Cloud was captured and removed. The word is he'd put up one hell of a fight! But in the end he was taken, along with his herd. In the spirit of Cloud and the remaining wildlife on our planet, please say a prayer for what is left of our real America. We're losing it a little at a time and yes, we do protest, and continue to care very much for what is lost now for all time to come. Pray we don't lose the remaining wild herds. Americans should be ashamed of our Govt. officials.

Oh we protest, write letters and complain, but in the end, we give up and crawl back to our hovels and worry about the rent. These ghouls will not "Euthanize" these horses. Thanks for the support, and yes it is way more than ENOUGH!! We'll never have our mustangs back. Once captured and handled by humans, they're never the same again. These mustangs once wild, are gone from us forever. This is one of the saddest days I've known. May the BLM and those who'd taken part in this gather burn in hell. I hope God will judge them sooner rather than later. I feel your pain, and remain hopeful for better days. Although they seem to be growing less and less for us all.

On this very sad day, my six year old Percheron maiden mare was herded to the Rainbow Bridge far too soon. My grief is multiplied 1000 times to think of the 7 mile trail of tears Cloud's herd was forced to cross.this very day. What a memory to scar my heart for this lifetime.Great Spirit, show us the way to put an end to this out of balance and greedy madness.
