you can get any channels that you can get on your TV like whatever you are subscribed to with your cable or satellite provider

as long as you have wi fi yes but how much lag will you get? don't know.

It depends on the strength of the signal. If it is too weak, then you will notice some lag. If it is strong, no lag will appear.
