I always liked the dynamic between Adam and Steve. It's a shame we never saw that with Fallon and Amanda. I'm curious to see what type of relationship the writers would have given them...
@brinpol that would have been interesting since fallon was always daddy's little girl and since Amanda grew up away from the family but amanda was a charactor only introduced to replace fallon and never really developed and then miscast with an actress that made alexis look like a tiny-bopper.
@nickah79 while i respect ur opinion....not sure that is a fair comment.....i am not sure it was anyone's fault dynasty had a 9 yr run which is avg for a tv show as fans get older their tastes change...truth be told the writing was great and storylines interesting for the 1st 5 seasons and then went down hill from there.....when they began the colby's they split the writers and dynasty suffered they were afraid to push the envelope with dominque's character cause she was black....
@nickah79 it was the same with dallas....great show and interesting writers but after the 6th/7th season it had run out of gas and then when they made season 8 a dream season that killed the entire show because you can not insult the viewers intelligence and xpect them to continue to watch and incorrect casting will kill a show also....joan collins and john forsythe were well cast along wiht larry hagman for dallas.
@nickah79 they are trying to bring back dallas on tnt in summer 2012 and at first i thought it was a good idea and now i think it is a foolish idea because been there done that....leave well enough alone....it will nvr live up to the original and larry hagman is 80yrs old....way past his prime...
@nickah79 kinda like lucille ball coming back to tv after being off the air for 12yrs...abc signed her, gave her total creative control, no pilot, not test audience....the show was a train reck and was cancelled after 7 episodes....she was fine in i love lucy at 43 but no one cares to watch a 72yo broad runnin around doing stupid shit...it is just not funny..
That scene where Alexis fired Ballard should have been kick-ass, but it was short-circuited by the weird camera angles they chose to shoot it. It feels like a whole new director or dir of photography was pulled in after season 4. And they were clearly inferior in talent. Alexis should have fired them too!
yes, i love her line " I have fired chauffeurs and secretaries in my time , i have fired vice presidents and heads of corporations, and now I am firing you", god, what power, ha ha!!
adam is in a really bad situation and needs help from anybody. steven should be a brother, but what does HE do? he keeps on insulting him. he hates adam from the bottom of his heart.
In the kitchen, Adam told Steven he phoned Kirby in Paris, but she hung up on him. How did he know where in Paris to contact her? In her last scene with Adam, she never gave him an address or phone number.
Did you miss the scene where adam went to the pyschic with the crystal ball and she gave Adam the info? Now go back to your Tarot cards and leave us alone.
Seems almost like something out of "Brideshead Revisited". Steven reads Adam the riot act out of legitimate anger. Adam lashes back out of legitimate hurt (disguised as arrogance). It was great how those two collided in that scene.
Alexis has BALLS!!!!!

@hardrein101 that was aaron spelling's fault. at the end of the day, he was responsible for the derailment of this show.

@ 5:14 how grand it must be to have a picture of yourself in your office for all to see--LOL Alexis is too much!
Speaking of office where does she keep her documents and files, the desk has no filing cabinets/drawers.

"I don't really like that picture. I look a bit pale."
"That was not an incident. That was an affair! Some people do have them occasionally." lol. Alexis had the best lines ever!

That shot of Steven standing atop the stairs as Adam fumbles in, drunk, is so regal... gothic.
He treated Adam like shit.
Adams response was a complete KO! He shoots... He scores!!!! LOL Ouch!
Why is Steven leaving in that direction? Hmm, must be going out to the gardens for an evening stroll...

The scene with Alexis, Adam, and Mr. BalLARD is sublimely funny. Poor Adam being caught between two massive egos. lol
