I absolutely love what Blackmore does with a guitar. Some people mistakenly think that in order for music to be strong it needs to make one's ears bleed. The emotion that his playing evokes and expresses in his playing is so powerful. And it is truly he not the instrument or the strings or the pedals. He can play any guitar, with any brand string and any pedal and make it sing like an alive creature. Even Ian Gillan who is NOT a fan of the Black Knight, admits that it is uncanny and amazing.

THE MUSIC/ SONG is Blackmore's Night for those who are confused or just stupid. They do modern day Renaissance styled/ influenced music. Nightwish and Within Temptaion do more of a Gothic Metal type thing, although I even question if within Temptation is metal at all. I love them bu it's WAY too petty and not hard enough.

Rednex wrote and did the original. Then Ritche Blackmore and Candice Night did this together in their group Backmores Knight. So they did a cover of Rednex´s song. And so have other bands to. And this is candice singing and not Tarja from nightwish or sharon or whats her name from Within temptations. They could probably do the song justice too. But I think noone can do it like Blackmores night. Just listen to the guitarplaying and candice voice....
