  • Did you ever find an artifact there? LOL!

  • what is that hammering noise?

  • why did they block the rooms?

  • Very very interesting, good video! I wanted to visit your website to see the exclusion zone,

but uhm... I can't read Russian (?) LOL! -> Система коммуникации между пользователями позволяет обмениваться информацией, размещать на страницах нашего проекта фотографии, текстовые заметки и др. ..Huhh????? :-)

  • i Thought i Could Visit Chernobyl & Pripyat and Make My Maiden Documentary. Unfortunately U People Had Blocked the Entrance.

  • @gouthamkrishnaa why they block it ?

  • Radiation gives me the creeps

  • Gotta laugh at the lack of intelligence of the people in the video. Those masks prolly aren't good enough for painting. I wouldn't go nearly as close without oxygen tanks/ scuba setup.

  • Dont this guys have any side effect of radiation exposure???? Are you alive???

  • There is no safe zone around or inside the reactor, radioactive dust and microbes remain in the area until decay! 99.284% of natural uranium is uranium-238, which has a half-life of 1.41×1017 seconds (4.468×109 years, or 4.468 billion years) BAN NUCELEAR ENERGY!! OR THE WORLD WILL SUFFER AS A DIRECT RESULT. HOW MANY TIMES WILL THIS HAPPEN BEFORE THE PEOPLE WAKE UP.I guess it won't happen till its on our doorstep some time soon... 8 new nuclear power stations have just been cleared in the uk.

  • @bravoangle There will be another 400 reactors or something like that within 15 years - 100 just in China and people won't wake up - all we can do is to watch our self-destruction - the planet will eventually recover but w/o us :(

  • @bravoangle What the Hell? C'mon Radiation cancer treatment and stuff. Radiation can safe us aswell. I think you are right though. They need to care for these Nuclear locations.

  • @ArticFox1030 There are different types of radiation, alpha, beta, delta gamma... we are all exposed to radiation everyday the amount that occurs naturally is tiny and does not get through the body, radiation that is used for the treatment of cancer is different and is only very minor when compared with the radiation produced by uranium 238, used to create nuclear power. uranium is LETHAL it destroys cells and creates cancers its not the same. It remains radioactive for millions of years.

  • @bravoangle Seriously, how can uranium - 238 cause you concerns? The only way you could really get endangered is because of the chemical properties of that element. It's a heavy metal therefore poisonous by itself(if consumed), just like led.

You could place uranium under your pillow every night, and then you have greater chances of getting brain tumor because of the use of cell phones.

  • @SloveintzWend what nonsense, theres no way what you are saying is true! uranium is a radioactive element that produces waves of gamma radiation! if you placed it under your pillow you would not be alive in the morning to use your cell phone!

  • Comment removed

  • @SloveintzWend right ok if you want to argue over radioactive elements and their properties take plutonium which is a purified form of uranium, nuclear power stations produce tonnes of it! plutonium is the most toxic substance known to science, it is said that around 8lbs of plutonium in the form of dust would be enough to poison EVERY living organism on the entire planet and nuke plants produce tonnes of it every day! forget trying to spin that info coz its a fact

  • @bravoangle you seem to know what you are talking about can i ask the little masks they are wearing do the really keep them safe ???

  • @xxfallout1 It keeps them safe from inhaling the dust emitting ionizing particles.

  • @SloveintzWend thanks

one more question dose radiation not effect the skin like makes it pell off??

  • Comment removed

  • @SloveintzWend thanks man ill sub to your channel

  • @bravoangle way to use irrelevant facts to support your argument. Microbes don't decay. Natural uranium is not used in RBMK-type nuclear reactors. A longer half-life makes uranium-238 less dangerous than uranium-235. Uranium's characteristic alpha-type decay makes it non-hazardous unless it's inside you, so don't eat it. Also, please use the carot symbol (^) for denoting exponents.

    Sincerely,

    An engineer

  • @rktsyntst ok engineer, so you obviously know that plutonium is a waste product of nuclear power stations... I am correct when I say that plutonium is the most toxic substance known to man! you cant spin off them facts!

  • @bravoangle wothout nuclear energy you wouldnt have the power to use that computer haha its the way of the future deal with it

  • I thought that was chernobyl!

  • oh I´d wish to go there too

  • These guys are retarded! Coz, how can you do that? I think smoking sigaret is more healthy then this!

  • @Beun007

and drinking.. and taking drug of course is healthier then this ...dude :)

  • @Beun007 errmmm no, they're not retarded, their job revolves around this place so they are the opposite of "retarded" they know lots therefore they're intelligent

  • @Beun007 but just saying if you are talking about the workers there is they don't do who will ? because no way for any type of fucking money would i work there fo 5 mins

  • - weren't you scared? I mean.. you can become like how some of the people became ill.. not like a normal person? you could have lost your life etc?

  • Are those engineers building a new sarcophagus ?

  • Say goodbye 2 ur gonads guys

  • @EarthquakeMachine only if they taken in to much radiation, which is controlled.

  • I think they were removed because they were contaminated.

Also, how much radiation are staff limited to per year?

  • Why were all of the control systems removed from the Reactor #4 control room? Were they used at other RBMK plants?

  • Comment removed

  • Next time make sure that the camera man films the goddamn place and not you.

Sorry but I am interested in this

  • whats that clanging noise in the beggining?

  • what do u have to do to be able to go to the exclusion zone

  • Damn I want go there :D

  • What was the radiation level when you came out of control room #4? Around 44μSv/h? Thats like 1.056mSv/day..... Thats waaaay lower then I expected...!

  • @dcggames control room is higher from the rooms where the lava located so it's relatively clean - once you got down even one floor the level raises

  • @snigblower I see! Again thnx for the reply! ;)

  • @snigblower Good video!

  • Why are their engineers/scientists in the #3 control room? I understood that even after the disaster the remaining reactors (inluding #3 I suppose) were still used.. But not anymore right? Or are they just monitoring the reactors current behavior as a kind of safety measure? Great videos BTW!

  • @dcggames when you shut a reactor it doesn't mean the work is over - there is a stage of decommission - take it apart, recycle used fuel - and that's where the problems arise - no shelters for the radioactive waste - you have to build ones - but it's billions of $ - maybe more then the reactors generated for all these years... cheap energy today turns into big problem for the future generations

  • @snigblower Thanks for the reply! ;)

  • When he said "happened at night at 01:24" I looked at my computer clock and it said "01:24".

  • Symptoms of acute radiation microsievert =mSv

    (0 – 250 mSv): None

250 – 1000 mSv): Some people feel nausea and loss of appetite; bone marrow, lymph nodes, spleen damaged

(1000 – 3000 mSv): Mild to severe nausea, loss of appetite, infection; more severe bone marrow, lymph node, spleen damage; recovery probable, not assured.

(3000 – 6000 mSv): Severe nausea, loss of appetite; hemorrhaging, infection, diarrhea, peeling of skin, sterility; death if untreated.

    They devices shows 50-mSv

  • @BuRninsh mSv is millisievert not micro... ;)

  • @dcggames Aghh yeah then 54 micro is only 0,054 mSv, heh thats bulshit its nothing =)

  • @BuRninsh No right?! OK, you have to multiple it by 24 because the doses you posted are described for one full day exposure.. But still... Waayy within the 0-250 mSv region...

  • It's weird, how such a disaster provokes/d such interest.

Imagine what it would be like, in a distant future (or when all the fuel has been removed after they build the dome thing, after they make it very safe, if it's ever done) to be able to look around the *actual* reactor area.

  • did you guys see the actual reactor itself??

  • @jenpletsplay do you mean whatever is left from it ?? - yes but it's just a mess - the lava sipped into the basement - that's where it is hot

  • @snigblower yes i meant whatevers is left of it.

    thanks for the reply

  • @snigblower Didn't they have a worker crawl through a sub-basement tunnel under reactor 4 to see if any of the lava went through? Something dripped on his head, they threw him a Geiger Counter. No radiation, it was water and he was safe. If it was radioactive material, he would've died. After that, didn't they pump concrete under the reactor to serve as a dish to prevent any further soil or water contamination or "The China Syndrome"?

  • @davidmarino97

    Inside the Reactor 4

  • what is the most radioactive area?

  • This is amazing to see abit of the inside and see what theyre doing at the plant. But im sure that with youre equipment warning you of high radiation, you two and the other staff there MUST be or have been in some sort of danger. I for one, would love to go around the plant, i know i can't and never will, but a part of me would like to, to see what it is like for myself. Have they invented clothing that can help to stop radiation getting through though? How do the staff not get ill?

  • Your videos are amazing, thank you for showing me places that I would not have the nerve to see in person.

    Superb

  • This is Dan, from Saint Louis, Missouri 63116-2747 (USA).

I am concerned, are you two OK after the exposer in this area?

I am a retiered Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) I am worried about your exposer!

    Please TAKE CARE,

    Dan seaveiw51@yahoo.com

  • @1974Flyingsub

we are all fine here - pls don't worry it's under control :)

  • this tour is included in normal visit?...or just exclusive for you guys?

  • @wyp115

    this off the regular tour

  • I'm surprised that the radiation level is in fact low. What I understood was 67 uSv/h which is the old scale 6 mR/h.

In Battle of Chernobyl colonel's Grebeniuk squad measured the radiation level under the reactor and it was 2080 R/h, 350 thousand times higher than is today.

And the Biorobots worked in even higher radiation. According to Vassili Nesterenko, Nuclear Physicist on the roof where they where shovelling debris was from 10 to 12 thousand R/h

  • Why are there so many people inside, when it's not even working?

  • @Weslietje their closing the open explosion roof so no more radiation will come out soon {10~15 year} that place is a live zone

  • @GamesAndmoreByBrick LMAO @ 10-15 years. Add a few zeros there buddy

  • This is a great video! Thank you for sharing it!

  • I would never go near that place.

  • 0:26 whats that boom boom in the back round, its like metal on metal....

  • @TheBeenu98 they hammering poles for the base :)

  • @TheBeenu98 : Monolith making base camp...

  • I think these people are the real heroes of today..

  • It's all under under strict radiation control - so no healths problems !

  • @snigblower could you explain what strict radation control is then?

  • @Weslietje you must wear a dosimeter all the time you're there - a visitor's dose shouldn't be more then 20 micro sieverts per visit. Moving inside is limited to your route - you have to input codes and a magnetic key to open the doors between different rooms. There is a dosimeter control upon leaving the power plant and the zone itself.

  • One question don't you get health problems going to reactor 4!!

  • @dikkefuck123456789 not immediately. after 2 weeks staying in that damned place, yes.

  • i like the video very much, but i have one question... if i sign up for a tour on the site, can i visit the reactor and control room too?

i'm exited about Chernobyl almost all my life (about 12 years) im 16 now and want to plan an trip to Chernobyl when im turning 18.

  • whats the beep beep beep beep meaning?

  • @KermisSimulatieFilm

It means that the geiger counters are detecting radiation, and as the radiation level grows, it will sound faster.

  • @KermisSimulatieFilm It also means that the radiation level detected is threatening your health and you should leave the area ASAP, those dudes just have balls of steel :D

  • and what about Reactor 2?

  • @KovuPL yeah. you can see most buttons and things in chernobyl were stolen before it was safe to go back in. people were stealing tvs and everything. they would have died from radiation poisioning but it gave them something to sell for like 3050Ru

  • how long can you stay in that area? like 200 m in the reactor?

  • I want to live in side this place and become a powerful monster from resident evil.

  • Nice guys, you have balls.

shortening your life span for the sake of documenting. :)

id love to go there to, the atmosphere must be incredible.

  • Sign me up, me and my buddy want to visit chernobyl, We hope to see you guys there giving us the tour

  • These guys have balls...

    ...Well they did.

  • Is this actually real?

are these people trying to kill themselves?

  • @lindsey1029 its not actually that bad anymore, as long as you have protection. crossing the street five times is probably about as dangerous as visiting chernobyl

  • effectively entombing the site, that would be the last time somebody would touch the knobs

    P.D.: theAZ-5 button still exists????????

  • @MrIhatehomework76

That button was probably "taken" first..one of the reasons to put a wall there to protect the control room from the complete dismantling for souvenirs :) as the workers go through it from the 3rd unit to the construction area outside

  • @snigblower This button can be worth a fortune e.g. on ebay

  • LOL.. you can go easy into the reactor .. I think all in this reactors will have an unnatural dead.. it can be 100 000 years at least then the reactor have non Radiation more.

  • Comment removed

  • hello, would be great if a visit inside reactor 3 is possible in your tour.

  • @Kalliebach

can't be arranged now as they are constructing a new confinement and have to take all the used fuel from the reactor #3 :(

  • Amazing video!
