Tommy's tone rocks. Especially when he plays the non ace stuff he really knows how to adapt it to a Les paul. I want Tommy to change his makeup to the bandit so people quit bashing him just because he was screwed over by Sony merchandising.

Im not sure i like Thayer in Kiss. Somehow he fits in, he sounds good and is in place, but somehow I think that he is not that explosive. Compare this to Ace's solos. Sure Ace misses a couple of notes but the explosivity is there. Thayer fits in better the Vinnie Vincent. Bring back Bruce Kulick.

Thayer is like driving 10km/h below the speed limit just to make it on the safe side. No thrills and no misstakes. Thayer plays guitar like many people are singing karaoke.

Yes we all love & miss Ace, but tommy plays ALL his stuff sooo f$%%ing tight EVERY TIME !! Ace & Pete Signed OFF their contracts on the makeup, so they knew very well what Gene & Paul would do. kiss has always had lineup changes,& after seeing them live the are better than ever lately! New makeup? Cmon !! You know how dumb that would look?!! Vinne BARELY pulled it off! Fer god sake just be glad there here & we are gettn great new tunes & shows!! P ast is past my friends.

Ace and Peter screwed themselves,and they have both had over 30 years to do there own thing to prove how great they are and they simply have not done so.I wish people would stop bashing Paul and Gene and just get over it. I hope on the next album they let tommy just be himself and play like himself (his style) so everyone would see that hes just like every other guitarist that took over since ACE letf the band , -a better guitarist.

Tommy and Eric are pretty darn good. I agree it would be way better if they had their own makeup/personas, but that's not their call since Paul and Gene are the bosses. Still, as far as the two new guys not having respect for Ace and Peter becaus of this, come on.  If you were a musician and Paul and Gene offered you the chance to play with them in front of huge crowds playing kickass tunes, would you decline out of respect for the original guys? I don't think so. It'd be a dream come true.

I saw them w/ Eric and tommy in Indianapolis this past summer. I have to admit that Tommy was off the charts he was so good. I am a die hard Ace fan, but I will give Tommy his due.

Tommy's been with them for years, doing studio work. Ace and Tommy are both excellent guitar players. But, Ace will admit he had his problems. I'm glad to see Ace is lean, clean and mean once again. But, KISS IS KISS, IT'S THE MUSIC!!!! I've been listening and watching them all 35 years since I was 9 years old. I don't care who's under the makeup, IT'S STILL KISS. THEN, NOW, AND FOREVER!!!!
