This model guitar has always seemed just as good as any Gibson hollow-body. Easier to play, too. Would you say that?

do you need a pedal to get that kind of rock sound, or is it possible to get a fair rock sound with the guitar only? i'm thinking of buying a Epiphone Sheraton II VS, but i don't know a lot about guitars...i can play guitar, but i don't know much about which sounds wich guitars make and such...would you say that this is a guitar that can play most things from blues to rock or do i need a pedal?

I want one of these and am also a southpaw. Im not very good with the mechaniccs of a guitar. is it just a matter of flipping the nut on a righty or is there a bit more involved and should search out a left handed sheraton (they are so readily available on ebay in a right handed setup. Thanks

Yeah it is heavy and big! The Washburn HB-35 is a much better guitar IMO. I have owned both, the HB-35 is definitely a better quality guitar overall. My Jap and Korean HB-35 guitars blow away the EPI Sheratons I have owned.

the tone probably sounded heaps better live... and you should definately get feedback with this guitar, its got a solid block of wood running through the body to avoid negative feedback but keep that sweet sustain going for ages.

Nice job! I noticed that you were using your pinkey on your picking hand to kind of balance on for support etc., that is really bad and you should really avoid doing this because it can cause problems in your playing such as causing limitations as you progress and it can also cause injuries. Besides that, it was good! Keep it up!

I did not get any feedback when i tried the dot or the sheraton at guitar center

neither should have feedback due to the block of wood in the middle of the body. My sheraton is quite good with distortion. It's an extremely versatile guitar. Only thing though, the sound is silky smooth and not at all agressive. But that's a good thing depending on what you play and your personal preference.

i love it im saving for it ill sit in guitarcenter with an amp like 2ft from me and blast it until it feedbacks and i can get fairly loud and distorted before i get any unwanted feedback... some is good if u want to rock out
