Excellent idea! I built a box that was fixed in place at the front of the bed but couldn't reach most of my tools. Being a framer to finisher meant I had to carry everything in the box. This system would have been perfect.
@hilltopfarmsplumbing This organizer holds mostly my back up supplies which makes it so I cannot run out of stuff I use a lot of (masking paper, roll of plastic, tape, sandpaper). I am a house painter and I just take in what I need for a day or 2.
@plunger1212 It rolls quite easily fully loaded. I did have to switch from metal track to a custom made wood track for one side as it was not sliding squarely. That is it would shift just a hair while tracking and this would cause it to not slide smoothly. Once i changed that track it worked really well.
