  • This is a great interview! You where so lucky to meet him! How did you get to do this video?

  • @sweetlorraine66 I'm so glad you enjoyed this so much! God it was almost five years ago I did that! I explained how it came about a couple comments down. If you want to see what Brett's up to now Google his name and the word "klinik"

  • he really hit the nail on the head describing how i feel about celebrities. i don't like knowing much about my favorites. i just want to enjoy their music and their mystery. for example, i liked bono much more when he was so mysterious to me in the 90's. when i found out more about his personal life and he got so political and i came to think of him as a fellow human being, it somehow reduced him in my eyes. i want the mystery.

  • I'm really shocked at how Brett Hudson has changed. God, he really aged a lot. I barely recognize him. He looks much older and let himself go. Only when you listen to this interview does the old Brett come out. Brett Hudson was the same guy that had the sexiest, hottest pin-up I've ever seen in Tiger Beat. The pin-up with him just wearing a pair of jeans and exposing his hairy chest......wow. I still get excited thinking about that photo after all these years.

  • Very happy to see this from where I am.

I have an abundant amount of memories of this show. Thanks!

  • I had worked with the Hudson Brothers 33 years ago....Handsome men, even now.

  • Oh I think they did want to get to know you and I'm sure a few DEFINITELY wanted to touch you! HAHAH! Too funny.

You guys were a riot, and so talented musically, why would someone NOT want to know you? I'd love to sit and talk with all three of you! The one question I'd like to ask is if they have any plans to re-release their stuff (and if you do, please put them on iTunes). Also, I also would buy tapes of (ALL) the TV shows.

  • Insightful and interesting. Thanks for posting. What was your motivation? How did you corral this erstwhile legend of 70's power pop?

  • I've done work for Brett and his business partner for years, and one day it dawned on me to ask him, "what was it like to be so famous?" After listening to him tell some of his stories, I contacted some gals who are still fans, asked them what they would want to ask him, and then one day he came over to my house and let me interview him. The rest is pure wanting to experiment with my new After Effects program.

  • Thanks for the interview with Brett Hudson. I had a big crush on him in the seventies. He seems like a nice guy with a lot a interesting stories to tell. But I never would have known it was him, he's so changed in appearance. Even his voice sounds different! He's an attractive man, but unrecognizable as the teen idol he once was.

  • I agree! I look at his old pictures and can't believe it's the same guy. I told him I think he had a head transplant since those days. But it's definitely him; I've met Bill too, so I know for sure this really is the real Brett!

  • Yes, after close observation I said to myself "it really is him". He still has the same sweet smile he always had.

  • I just wanted to THANK you for posting your interviews with Brett. But he's kind of wrong about the Hudson fans- we would like to talk to them. We would probably clam up because we would be in shock that they were actually in front of us!!

I have been a fan for almost 30 years and I have to tell you I drive my husband crazy playing their records

Once you get past the changes in Brett you can catch a glimmer of the Tiger Beat days.

I loved him then and I love him now!!

  • Agreed here. I've met celebrities and even became friends with some of them. As he cited there's a fine line being a fan and being a friend to the people you idolize.

  • I hope you post more interviews with Brett. He's such a great guy.

  • You are so lucky. I'm watching the rest of this interview as I go through your channel.
