I am a musician and I have heard first hand reports from friends of Ted's and recording engineers who recorded Ted Nugent of him killing random dogs out in the country with his pistol and also of him shooting cats with his crossbow in downtown Atlanta behind the recording studio...The guy is a blood thirsty murdering psycho piece of shit.
10mm are for jokers. Im a big nugent fan but 10mm are fucking stupid. good luck finding enough ammo and when you do good luck paying for it if your not a rock star. i may be crazy but I am a big believer in having 500-1000 rounds of ammo for each caliber of gun you own.
@johnnyboy922 180gr. 1300fps 10mm ammo 'the good stuff' is (only) about 45cents a round if thats to much for you i would hate to see the crap you shoot. I guess you should just stick to the sissy 9mm wolf ammo.
@jasongtivr6 well sorry I am stuck being a full time student so blowing through 5 dollars in about 30 seconds is not a good option for me. when i go shooting I dont go through just a box, thats not worth the gas of going to the range. any real gun guy will confirm with me that its not cheap to shoot your just a fucking small dick, hater
@johnnyboy922 .22 and 10mm and a shit load of rifle rounds, that's pretty much my armory. You don't have to hate the amazing 10mm just cause you can't find it where you live. Where I live, it's abundant.
@MagicCat3 a 10mm is only amazing if you can find the rounds. I cant so for me it is the worst possible choice because the best gun is a loaded one. and I think alot of people would agree they do not see the ammo as often as you would like if you have a gun chambered for it. I am sure its fun to shoot and a real stopper but so are alot of other rounds
@TeslaDRay You sure you don't have your head between your legs. Remember, be more careful when you get a drink of water, that way the toilet seat won't fall on the back of your head.

The difference is that some asshole in England back in 1996 went into a school with his handgun and killed 16 children. That was enough reason for the government to take away the peoples right to own a firearm. It hasn't done a damn thing for the country's crime rate.

FUCKIN SHWEET!
what malfunction are you talking about? and "shell gets cought in the chamber..."??? it is clearly visible, that the brass is flying out from the pistol every shot! News flash: Yes- REAL GUNS sometimes need reloading!
Hey Garrett from Ohio. Mr. Nugent always a fan of your work ;). Considering getting a ten myself, just wasn't sure if it was worth the money. Seems to me it is. Thank ya sir for all of the wonderful videos !!! xD
@Rocketryman - Plus, just as an FYI. We shot on a day that was 98+ degrees outside and a bit toasty on not only the guns but also the camera equipment. None of that video was scripted nor rehearsed. The guns literally came out of the box with no break-in, testing, anything. It was a one take segment as are most of our segments.
I am not crazy about his way of swinging a loaded pistol around in front of the cameraman. lol Falls under the rule of not pointing a gun, especially a loaded one.
@Rocketryman - I am one of the cameramen recording these segments. We were completely safe in the handling of the guns. We are always behind loaded muzzle anytime we are recording. Safety is first priority when shooting these segments. Also, we shoot on a rig that is about 1 foot or so further to one side than where the cameraman is - in this case, further away from the muzzle of the gun.
@rabenwolf, I understand some new guns need a break in period but its funny how when the gun jams the camera cuts that part out just as it happens. Be honest guys come on! BTW I own a STI so Iam just not complaining just trying to keep you guys honest.
lol, "same fucking hole!" well no shit! that targets been shot so many times it kinda hard not to hit that gaping hole! also, fte at 1:50.....I feel like Uncle Ted's lyin to us about something
@OhshitPositive doesnt matter how many holes are on target, if you take a gun that cant shoot groups like that, then your obviusly gonna be outside those holes. and about the FTE, wasnt teds fault, the media people did that (changed the camera view), you can hear him clear the jam in the background. he doesnt know what there dong with the camera hes just shooting.
@DocHollidayYZ but then again, you dont know how involved he is with the video editing., he should have said something about it instead of silently clearing it. And if you were to show me how accurate a gun is by shooting it, then you should put up a new target so that I can see the grouping, dont just shoot a target full of holes
Being that it's a 10mm I bet it has a truck spring for a recoil spring in it.....didn't look like he had much of a grip on it to me.....especially with those gloves on..
@bobsf415 yep from about 1:48 through 1:50 the gun does not return to battery. The slide is NOT locked back on an empty mag, it's hung up either clearing the case out or feeding the next round in.
@bobsf415 I worked there for about three years, I put a lot of blood, (literally) and sweat into 1000's of 1911's and 2011's making sure they were ''tight"'. These pistols are ungodly accurate its just the magazines that are the problem, that's why Dillon makes a mag tuning kit for them., also they need at least 1000 rounds to even break in. All in all if you want a bad ass looking tack driver for competition pay the $3000 or so for the STI, but when your life depends on it, get a Glock or HK.
@mark100nl Then your an idiot for not bringing/sending in to STI. When you buy a STI you buy a lifetime warranty that covers just about anything... OR better yet, call STI at 512 869 0656 and ask for Dave Cupp or Chris Schirmer. Either of those guys would gladly take care of your STI Edge.
@robimr I'm sure they would IF I were in the US and able (and allowed by law) to send the gun anywhere.. Us elsewhere on the globe are stuck with very expensive not working guns and smiths trying whatever they can to get them running. So far, without success in my case. And I'm not alone in this unfortunately..
Anyways, this is probably not the place to utter my frustration with the brand. Hope the rest of you have better luck.
@mark100nl well describe to me your problem. By doing so I may be able to instruct you on how to fix your pistol... failure to feed? failure to extract? failure to eject? And what slide length and caliber are you running?
@robimr I'll try to keep it short. Feeding and extracting failed at first. Extractor was replaced now the gun only refuses to feed/cycle reliably. Since then they've polished the ramp and exchanged: recoil reducer spring, magsprings and followers. Also the maglips were adjusted and polished to reduce friction. It's a 5" 9mm Edge. Problem occurs with all 3 mags and with all available (to me here) factory 9mm loads. I do think a gun in this class should really run out of the box.. a bit at least
@robimr After the last visit to the smith? Somewhere between 1000 and 1200. I have another appointment with him this friday (the 4th one since I got the gun).
@mark100nl Look. If you are in the Netherlands, you can contact Karl Prommersberger in Germany at: +49 8251 50856 . He can facilitate any warranty issue you or any other STI owner that lives in Europe has with their STI. He is our European STI point of contact. You can Email him at GunMaker@AOL.com
@robimr I'm sure we can agree on that the ongoing problems I'm having with the pistol are far beyond simple breaking in issues. I've refused to pay my smith anything extra up until now since he sold me a not working gun. I'll see what happens tomorrow during my next visit, if the problems aren't solved I'll be sure to send the contact you provided a mail. Thanks :)
@robimr You can also contact STI in the US and they will forward your info to him. When you buy an STI, your paying for a full lifetime warranty that covers just about anything. Id hate to see you spend so much money and just sit there with a broken STI rather than send it for repair. STI has world wide warranty services and if you cannot send a firearm through the mail in your country, STI has smiths and reps that travel to every country world wide. They can take care of your STI at no cost2u
@45Driver If you have ever owned a STI before, you will know how tight and fit the new gun from factory is. There is no surprise that you might have malfunction for the first couple hundred rounds. That was NORMAL. STI is fully CUSTOM Gun. if you expect it to run 100% all the time like the defensive gun (such as: Glock / Smith&Wesson), you will be better off to different Manufacturer. @marcusjanta I have owned and do own some full custom 1911s that haven't jammed since new.
