@dcopymope The dividing up of Korea wasn't just a game. It was a war between two different ideologies. Communist and Democracy. If the United States did not entangle in South Korea's fight on invasion of North Korea in 1950, South Koreans would be worshiping Kim Jong II right now.

@novazee The US Soviet pact wasn’t about stopping the North from taking the South; they agreed in this pact that whatever country they invade, the Soviets would take the North and the US the South. They did it in many other countries including Vietnam. So the conflict between the Korea's is a fake creation of outside forces. If the Koreas want to unify, that’s their business not anyone else’s. They want to unify and stop the conflict but America is getting in the way of that progress. *con't*

@novazee This is an interventionist foreign policy, 180 degrees away from what the founding fathers wanted, who advocated a non-interventionist foreign policy. Be friends with everyone, trade with everyone, but no entanglements. No interfering in other countries internal affairs.

@navtel And this one is the most obvious. If the international community doesn't do anything about this, North Koreans will assume that they can do whatever they want and not have to pay the consequence. America lead UN forces liberated South Korea from the North Korean invasion over 50 years ago.

SK doesn't want war. It's bad for the economy, their country development and civilians are the one who will suffer the most. North Korea doesn't have economy and doesn't care about it's people.
