  • Buy a kymco and avoid the problems

  • Carb problem.

    Check your intake for leaks.

Definitly to much air comming into the carb.

  • To me that sounds like a CDI problem like the rev limiter is kicking in.. I would try a new CDI they are only about 25.00...

  • CHECK YOUR VALVE TIMING WITH A FEELER GAUGE. Just youtube "adjust scooter valve" but try finding your specific engine on your scooter. Let me know how it turns out for you. Thanks.

  • Sounds too rich

  • Could this be a belt problem im thinking the belt is sligtly thinner than the original so its not getting the full way up the variator and with the cdi restrictor limiting revs it thinks it already at its top speed, my peugeot scooter does this as it resticted to 45kmh and it feels tho the restricter is cutting power to the ignition as its restricted by revs only on my peugeot scooter and as my belt wears gets thinner my top end will start to drop as the gearing ends up lower with thinner belt..

  • hey i have a jinlun 125 T-13 i had the same problem so changed the clutch and rollers and it kept doing it i then changed the belt but as its chinese its hard to get the right belt but if you get the right one mine did stop doing the lurching fora short time but to be honest iv spent alot of time and effort on my scooter and everytime it lets me down its constantly snaping belts at the moment. if i find out the root of my problem ill let you know it might be the same for you .

  • called china shite, thats the problem

  • CARB!!! also might wanna check the CDi

  • that points to electronic speed restriction, cuz when engine reaches max allowed rpm, which equals speed of scooter, electronic restriction will turn off ignition, as soon as scooters speed drops, it will turn it back on...

  • Definitely carb. Too much air from air filter. Need bigger main jet for that airbox...

  • I don't know why your looking at your CVT when your issue is in the carburetion? Can you explain the relevance why you have your CVT cover removed when you have other issues?

  • ive got one of these and the clutch is burned out and the rear wheel wont spin at all. just got it today a guy that lives near me threw it away and said i could have it for free. it runs good though and has 10,000 miles!

  • i had the same problem and it was the main jet.

you need to check ur spark plug and see if it's brown or gray

if brown u runing rich and u need to down jet.

if it's gray u need to upjet.

  • @soccer9stars or if its really white and urned looking its running lean, or if its gray and carbon fouled its to rich, but id rather have a rich running engine than a overheating/lean engine that has no power and will die very soon.

  • @soccer9stars this isnt the case, it would have done that before rather he changed the belt or not. things like that dont happen unless you do something to it

  • its the spring in the torque drive

  • its your carb. I tried to give mine more air by deristricting the airbox and mine did the same thing. put airbox back to factory and fixed it

  • should have bought a tomos nitro 150 hehe!!1

  • Your strap seem very slack when you put throttle on. Maybe you should check the size of it.

  • Carburetor problem i had same problem

  • Comment removed

  • was jacemullen right? did you check?

  • dude your spring in your clutch snapped you need a new main clutch spring 1000 or 1500 rpm

  • @JaceMullen what if I put on a 2000rpm spring? what do you think? thanks

  • @The12Nurse stay with a 1500

  • @JaceMullen why? and how can i remove the clutch? I find it very difficult, any suggestions on how to? I already dealed with my variator.

  • @The12Nurse also get new clutch springs. If you unbolt the varitator (the thing left to the clutch. There is a plate behind the belt. Inside there is rollers. they are out o alignment you need out fix that

  • Id pull clutch apart and rebuild it. you may find the spring isnt sitting on the plastic cup properly, usually its a little white ring that the spring goes on to line up the spring. Also check the big gold nut it on correctly. I had my whole rear lock up to find out the big gold nut had come loose and the clutch completely locked up. My advice is pull it apart and rebuild the clutch

  • may be bogging under load.

    what you done to it.....

  • You may want to do away with that air filter. Sometimes it restricts air from flowing properly to the carb it sounds like its casping for air. Second get a ngk spark plug cr7sha

  • Do a valve adjustment...set both intake and exhaust to .06mm

  • no intake is .06 and exhaust .07

  • I got the similar problem... look my video response
