I had to sort of stop a friendship if that makes sense, 2 people form a hospital in 06 i had stayed in touch with but found it really hard being friends with them as it was demanding and they had different problems not eds so it was hard to break ties with them but it was helpful for me. Somrthimes you have to just think of yourself...
omg, falling asleep with ice cream. That's too funny. :-P. So glad you're hanging out more with friends, ED always seems to tell us to keep secrets and push people away. Finding people to lift you up and help you stay positive is an awesome idea. :-)
I definitely agree that being social helps A LOT and I know I feel like proud of myself when I am able to go to a social event and actually enjoy myself. I totally get the lonely thing to, when I lived by myself I felt that way ALL the time and its really hard to deal with so i am happy to hear you are finding healthy ways to cope! I hope you feel better soon!
Thank you for sharing. It is helpful and hopeful to hear even the little thought processes that you've changed. I am very proud of you for having the courage to keep moving forward on your recovery! Take care, and get some rest ;)
