This is how she really sounds live .. pretty damn good... what we get in most of her performances is a mix of live and lip sync she probably performs so much that she just can't keep it up live .. I'd rather hear the imperfections and get the real deal.

well you might be right, but when i looked on you tube all versions seemed lipsynced (yeah i know it wasn't typcal to her at the time) or with really bad quality...
the beginning was good. then it got a little higher and she struggled. such a delicate voice she has. probably due to the countless promotional events and NO SLEEP her voice is worn out. if sony was smart, they wouldve been nicer to mariah and gave her days off and more rest. now. her voice was good this year, but who knew what her voice would be like a few years later...
she has said it many times in interviews especially a few years back...other singers have had them too but they got surgery to get rid of them some can still sing some lose the voice forever which is y mariah is scared to get the sergery...

It's so sad she can no longer sing the way she easily used to.

For the love of god why would she say its the 40th anniversary of her 12th birthday if it wasn't on live TV, why would her birth certificate state she was born in 1969 if she wasn't, I am fully aware you are a Mariah fan just like me, but you must accept you can't always be right, I'd take this opputunity to correct your knowledge about her then you know even more correct stuff :) But no she is not 39, she is well and truly 40.

the beginning was good. then it got a little higher and she struggled. such a delicate voice she has. probably due to the countless promotional events and NO SLEEP her voice is worn out. if sony was smart, they wouldve been nicer to mariah and gave her days off and more rest. now. her voice was good this year, but who knew what her voice would be like a few years later...

I totally agree britney mimed on the x-factor as well as mariah except for when she did the hero song which she destroyed! but then "miraculously" her i stay in love with you was perfect beacuse it was mimed! I have utmost respect for live singers regardless if i dont like them. When i saw leona lewis on the x-factor singing run i was gob smacked she was/ and always is live and it was phenominal!
