I love modular synths; it's great to hear someone being so creative with just a handful of modules and a ribbon controller. I've been considering a similar minimalist ribbon controlled system myself - would love it to be portable and battery operated though. Nice controller 12TONE, and great music too!
It has been illuminating experimenting with just a few modules at a time. Being admittedly a bit over-obsessed with gear, its nice to take a step back and realize that you really don't need much to elicit some wonderfully complex sounds. I think that a minimalist, portable modular would be loads of fun!
