I would love to see this series return to SRW myself, but the series is actually not that popular back then in Japan. The chance of unpopular SR/RR series returning to SRW may be thin, heck, you can't even find fansubs for the series...that's just how unpopular it is.

I gotta say, I watch this clip anytime I'm feeling down, or need a kick. There's something therapeutic in watching a gas-powered giant robot take down a mecha-saurus - maybe the hot-bloodedness rubs off a bit?

Not to mention he's tiny tiny tiny. Just watch the op. It's here on Youtube somewhere. Tiny usually = Real type. But I'd LOVE to see Xabungle in another game someday...I mean it took forever for GoLion to show up, so why not Xabungle return someday?

Xabungle does have a few Super Qualities, but in itself, it's a real.

The way I've always thought of it is this. Super Robots are robots that have super powers or characteristics of super heroes. Real Robots are more under the genre of science fiction (both hard and soft sci-fi).

The quick answer is because it was mass-produced - there are two aboard the Iron Gear (Jiron is supposed to ride the broken one) - but we don't get to see them. Plus, hey, steering wheel and a stick shift.

Doesn't seem half bad... in fact, it seems like it's good at smashing stuff to bits, though I don't think it'll take a hit very well.

Yeah, it's armor isn't the highest. However, his armor was slightly above average for a Real Robot, so he had some survivaility.

He was utterly fun to use. I might upload a video of his upgraded robot too. :P

In the earlier Alpha games, the Real Robots had far less HP then they do now. For example, the VF-1 series from Macross had about 2000-ish hp.
