This is a different song from WPLJ by the Four Deuces, and this actually preceded the WPLJ recording by 2 months. This seems to borrow a little from All That Wine Is Gone.
Donald Woods, Willie Graham, Randolph Bryant, and bass Ira Foley were originally with the Medallions but left to form the Bel-Aires around 1955. Without Donald, they were the Vel-Aires. Marv Goldberg has more in his bio of the Medallions..
