Well, at first I thought it was almost a rip off of Neil Young actually but his voice sets it apart. Really its pretty standard chords I guess but its more than that, the little hooks are very similiar. Going to see Ray in Edmonton this August and it should be great!

All this commercialized money-scheming disposable music- It's not my thing, but damn. Guys like Ray, Cory Chisel, Glen Hansard, playing and singing to expose their souls; now THAT"S music. I love this, there's hope left for music!

It’s really great to hear real musicians, playing real instruments…a real singer-writer-story teller without the aid of harmonizers, electronic gizmos and the lot. Excellent, something to listen to and close your eyes and listen to how the music flows and intertwines without the constant “thump thump thump” of electronic drum kits and bubble gum club music, play on Ray & Dogs.
