@Laofse actually, the capacity is very good. the gearbox and motor draw far less energy than a standard gearbox, so the lower drain and mah give the gun a good battery life; just about the same as a 1200mah 8.4v on a tm rifle.

Do all AEP's have the same type of gearbox (like v2 for an M4 and v3 for an AK47)? Would the M93r have the same type?

@godofimagination yes, all tm aeps do have the same basic type of gearbox. however, the tm mp7 is not concidered an aep. it has a specific gearbox used only in this, the vz61, and the mac10.

If I go with an MP5k, The gun is all around better than a aep, but it might be too heavy. If I go with an M93r, It won't get in the way, but it might me too small to shoot mid-range targets. So I thought I would get an MP7, figuring its the middle ground. But if it has the same gearbox as a M93r I figured I might as well get a MP5k

@HamzaReview yeah but gas costs more money, and your performance is a lot more dependent on your climate. Your gun will also suffer cooldown because its gas powered. The mags will cost about 4x more for the kwa as well. But you do get the blowback lol

hey man, loved the review, very helpful. now, living in an area where the only thing worth using in a skirmish are the trees and woods, i'm limited to outdoors. that being said, i'm no idiot and am probably going to get ome kind of rifle primary, so how would this do as a secondary in outdoors environments? i've heard of a drop-leg holster for this baby, so that, the gun, a few more 50 rnd low caps, and i'm set for an emergency situation, but still, would it be a practical secondary?

@flameomega1 You can some of the outdoor stores carry a H&K mp7, it is clear but you can paint it, and fps is 300 with 0.2, so you know it will have good accuracy. If you have more questions on where to get it pm me.

@BillinZootz i deffinately wouldnt use this gun in an outdoor game, but indoor and cbq would be perfect for it. i would say its max range is about 100-110ft with a human sized accuracy of about 80ft.

no. only 7.2v batteries are made for this gun. however, nineball and laylax make battery conversion kits so that you can attach an 8.4v mini battery. anything higher than an 8.4v mini WILL drstroy the internals no matter how heavily the gun is upgraded.

250fps... That seems pretty low. I know people say that accuracy is about the hop up system not the fps but even when I play indoor cqb games where most people are shooting 300fps or higher with .2gs it can be hard to feel hits through your clothing. It seems most TMs have really low fps. I'm not a fan of that. Good video though it was well done.

That's why there are so many upgrade parts readily available for TM. In japan they mostly play indoors so it's not really necessary for overkill firepower at close range. Tokyo Marui sets the standard for airsoft- buy the upgrade parts if you want fps. Their internal quality is unmatched- don't judge a brand by it's stock fps.

Again I'm not doubting their performance. I'm just saying they shoot the same .2g bbs other guns use, and I know that .2g bbs traveling less than 300fps don't pack a hard enough punch to be felt through clothing a lot of the time. Even in close quaters. BBs traveling at 330fps I find hard to feel even through something as light as a sweater and t-shirt.

Yes, but this gun shoots 250fps. Thats a lot slower than the 350 cap. 350 is usually the cap for indoor games too. I just think that 250 isn't hard enough to definitively let someone know they've been hit. During a game you probably arn't paying attention to where the other players bbs are going and are more worried about your bbs. You really need that sharp pain to let you know you've definitively been hit. Thats my only issue with this.
