surprised I haven't seen this vid before, and telling you as a Wal-Mart worker of nearly 11 years now, at least at my store we kept the store open all night and made lines for the first come first serve basis items to avoid a thing like this from happening, it worked well and nobody had to get hurt over stuff, and so you know we will keep this going to prevent an incident this year as well :)

Thank you for this video. I've seen quite a few on here where people are shifting blame from the company to the customers. Personally I believe that everyone was at fault. That store for not being better prepared, and the people for letting their greed control their actions. I'm also glad that you were emotional as you relayed this message. surprised I haven't seen this vid before, and telling you as a Wal-Mart worker of nearly 11 years now, at least at my store we kept the store open all night and made lines for the first come first serve basis items to avoid a thing like this from happening, it worked well and nobody had to get hurt over stuff, and so you know we will keep this going to prevent an incident this year as well :)

My father who immigrated to Canada in the 1950's used to say he couldn't understand the mentality of people here. "They'll drive 20 miles and spend 2 hours in line to get a free hotdog." It speaks to peoples greed and shows how brainwashed some people become when being told they need this phone or that tv or this video game. I wouldn't stand in line if they were giving it away. This is absolutely horrific, I can't believe that this sort of thing could happen! I've never heard of anything like this and I was just reading about it, apparently the people got ANGRY when they found out they had to leave!

ever christmas (anywhere that is having a sale like walmart, kmart, ect.) Some always gets hurt and they talk about how horrible it is and how pple could just step and run over inoccent ppl and yet they never do anything to improve it or to stop it and sick! and i agree how could you still be shopping while someone if being given CPA and if it were me in that store then and if i saw someone getting stepped on i would do my best to try to help them up not just to look down and talk away...

*Continue* - people who are coming in the store, you should blame the store itself for having poor security handling. They know that this shit is going to happen and the store itself doesn't want to bring in or hire extra security measures because it cost an extra fortune and nobody wants to pay extra money for safety. In they end they reach a court case, court will not take time to think about the issue and will just call a leave or a small fee to be paid for public damage. THAT'S IT!

The society of today is very selfish. They are all emotionally sensetive on many things and will rampage against others who don't agree with whatever they believe. Kids also acting like gang members, suicidal cases, disregarding others and rebelling against society. No one thinks anymore. Everyone around me likes to solve their problems with their fists, not their heads.

People are materialistic. I did not see the footage, but I think part of the problem is that there are too many people in the world so they become a bit disposable. Its a bit like if you fall etc in a big crowded city nobody wants to help you but if you fall over in a small town with only 50 people living there they will help you unless they are hermits or something. I think that people use materialism to distract themselves from their real problems, ie I feel bad I'm gonna go shopping.

Oh my gosh, that is so horrible, and it amazes me how selfish we are now.
