You can't put them on paths you have to change the terrain they can only be put on plain terrain.

you need to use the terrain colouring toll and use the black tarmac with the grey square pavment colour aswell

to get the entrance you just make a park on scenario editor and then put the entrance in. then save it as a sandbox and youll have that entrance when u load it.
