That's right, but this motet is not by Johann Sebastian. It is attributed to Johann Bach, who was a brother of Sebastian's grandfather.

yes, sorry, I thought - because of not reading properly - about the cantata BWV 21 "Ich hatte viel Bekümmernis". The motet is part of it.
You are right that the following text (Psalm 116,7) appears in both works:
"Sei nun wieder zufrieden, meine Seele, denn der Herr tut dir Guts."

I was a member of the Collegium Vocale at that time, back in 1982. Singing under Philippe Herreweghe was a joy I will never forget!

It must certainly have been a great time !
I've just heard Collegium Vocale perform the B minor mass in London,
which of course was a great experience.
The 'great' Peter (Kooij) was also there. Was recorded by BBC.
