  • Professor Sauer expression of jiu-jitsu is an excellent example.

  • Awesome love the connection between feeding one move to the next as a beginner sometimes I get stuck on just one motion -thank you for the post

  • Wow, really fluid transitions.

  • i'm digging the reflection of the students.

  • I have great respect for the art of Ju-Jiutsu and all it's sister arts, but I can't help but to notice that several moves seems to be developed with the idea that your opponent is wearing a Gi. Is that truly useful, or are these moves easily convertible to "No Gi"?

Hope that a Ju-Jiutsu player can give me a good answer :)

Thanks for sharing and keep them coming Sub101

  • @berg89dk

I have found that a lot of "gi" technique transfer easily to "no-gi". Some are a little risky though. Take this one, instead of grabbing the belt, try to grip your hands together. sometimes it works other times you'll set it aside. However, the "gi" stuff is really useful for self defense due to the addition of being able to grab clothing. By all means test things out.

  • 3:00 just watch and re-watch sooooooo many details if you are having trouble with this move, watch his "invisibles" and at 2:47 if you look in the mirror he goes for a lapel choke before setting up the armbar. gotta love it

  • very nice. would help a lot more if i didnt do no-gi lol

  • Awesome transitioning. I saw an armbar and an arm-triangle that you could opt for depending on your mood.

  • amazing how easy to swap the opponent but the most amazing is if the ppl make such things from them self

  • is that a brown belt now? moving up in the world.

  • one of my favourite vids that you've actually done

you showed the sweep, then proceeded to include the troubleshooting section to explain what to do if your opponent anticipates the sweep

    excellent stuff

  • He is like the Professor X of jiu jitsu.

  • Great master to learn from. Thank you very much indeed.

  • Love the explanation of the x. Never thought of it like that.
