  • Where did you get the UP Passenger cars from?

  • Its the same as buying coffee...How much i dont know)...and a doughnut...with...SPRINKLES!!!!!!

  • Wiff Spwinkles :D

  • two words + 1 = its big, wow

  • "...buying the Feather River Canyon... and a Starbucks coffee... and a doughnut... with sprinkles." xDD Haha, very nice one, Nick! Made me laugh for a while. Perfect review as all of your previous ones! ;)

  • does all of the detailed loco's and railcars come with the cajon pass upgrade or do you half to buy the seprate

  • @ryanlee112 The upgrade includes no stock. What you see is from the original route and the Train-sim file library.

  • The reason for the wood tie crossovers is because there werent many concrete tie switches back then, even now. 3dtrains would have to make a new mesh for the concrete ties because the ones they use (like the real thing) have a depression in the center and would be hard to mount rails to it. Also many of those switches in real life have wooden tie crossovers. Great video!

  • 2:39-2:45 Just a hint of 1989.

  • Is the 4449 and 844 recing scene from a activity you made, or does it come with the route?

  • I made that activity and downloaded the stock elsewhere.

  • In this video i have the same game but you have steam engines and different engines and stuff how do you have that in the game but i dont?

  • I've downloaded extra content from Train-sim.

  • do u see traffic durng a free roam

  • @Kenster236 no.

  • One more thing, this is probably the best video you've done yet!

  • Dang. That's not cool.

This review was great! Keep up the amazing work, Nick!

  • Quick question: Does the Dash 9 repaint use the default files?

  • Yes

  • With Sprinkles

  • Would you please tell me the name of the cars at 3:42 ??

  • Those are freeware available at Train-sim. Do a search for "TTRX" and they should turn up.

  • Okay, thank you.

  • the donut part was to funny!

  • I'm glad you liked that bit.

  • Wow, very good review, good job from all!

And please, make a list of Musictracks. Your Music is wonderful, you have a good taste.

  • Hey! I see you installed my Sign update from Trainsim(dot)com!

You can see it at 6:05 in the video!.

    Can't wait for part 3!

  • I have a feeling the 3D train stuff's version will win.

  • Get Railworks, that has Cajon Pass, and it's up-to-date in terms of graphics and performance.

  • It has other issues, though, such as a lack of American routes. I'm sticking with MSTS for the time being.

  • I have both the freeware and payware(without the update). The freeware is great from LA to San Bernardino. Then run the payware to Barstow. There are some hills, like the only at MP58.2 that aren't there in the free or paywere routes. overall the update make the 3DTS route a little better. but the freeware has the same route as real engines. BNSF engineers run from LA-Barstow mostly and then they change crews for Needles sub(which is for MSTS). Both routes are good!

  • Yay for 18 Wheels of Steel!!!

  • Great work.

  • I love these!

  • Very good and a good soundtrack. What is the soundtrack for both videos btw?

  • I'll list all the songs in the credits of Part III.

  • Turnouts are generally made out of wood, I asked Marc Nelson myself. But the Ballast should atleast match

  • The Ballast does match.

And sorry, I know it was a simple mistake, but yeah it's perfectly normal for switches to have wood ties even though it's a concrete tie mainline,

  • very good, i would say that possibly this route was a bit ahead of its time, and miscalculated the price of a "future classic", making it more expensive than a rail fan's dream breakfast.

The endless stretches of the Mojave do look a lot better on this than the other one, but at a price like that I think that this Cajon Pass should be reserved for the more die hard fans of rail, even though I, with little to no experience with trains, would find this an interesting route
