i have to agree. this guy i works with has one he wears it 24/7!! you'll be in a conversation and just immediately ignores the person right in front of them and starts talking on the bluetooth headset lolll. he's such a douche. Most of these people have to talk really loud to be heard which only makes it worse. The biggest douche I saw though was this guy in a suit wearing one while he was on a date with his girlfriend!! Your on a date take the stupid thing off!!!
Borg!? Bwahahah!!! I made that joke about my dad when he got one since it flickers on occasion. But he takes it out and puts it in his pocket when not using it. He only uses it when his hands are busy with something else.
I really like my bluetooth even tough i hate wearing it in public settings because i do honestly feel like an asshole in public settings. i hate holding the phone to my ear when i talk to people for than 20 mins and like 80% of my phone calls are always 20mins or longer. I like wearing when i drive too but errr w/e i guess im an asshole for using it but too bad i guess for u people
ok. im gonna be honest. its a funy video. i recently purchased one. i dont use it too often. but there are MANY times when it is very useful. ie; trying to do things that require the use of two hands. apparently this guys just plays with his puppet all day and that only requires one...so i guess that is why he doesnt understand the usefulness.
I can afford a bluetooth but I don't want to misrepresent myself as a self centered idiot who has no friends and wants everyone to believe that they are important.
I just need to say that it is extremely rude for people to be on those headsets when you are in a public setting. If you are properly educated and well versed, one would understand not to use them when someone else is trying to help you. It happens to me all the time.
only suckers still hold their phones up to thier ears, they only people who complain about bluetooth are the people who dont have one. STEP IT UP YA SMERKS!
@JackCapers you are a moron. why is it yo u cant take one moment to pull over, pick up the phone and place it to your ear and talk. i owned a bluetooth headset and i threw it away after the first week. because if im too busy to hold a phone to my ear im too busy to talk
I can identify. I wanted to buy a sandwitch as this gas station and i walk to the guy and he says: "hello my friend, what can i do for you?" I order my food but he said: "sorry, i wasn't talking to you" and pointed at his blue-tooth headset.
having a headset (provided it works well) is in every way superior to dedicating 50% of your hands to the simple task of speaking.
as to others in the vicinity...how are they better served by having 50% of the phone-talker's hands dedicated to the task of speaking?
if you think speaking on a cellphone in public is rude or annoying, fine (i sometimes find it annoying, but mostly don't care)...but how does the speaker's use of hands affect this?
At the very least, if you're using a handset, people are aware of the fact that you're using it. With the headset, it's generally hidden, which feels like such a casual disregard for people (which is often worse than the active disregard for people that public cellphone usage represents).
it's a joke, yo. this is what your character is saying. i'm going along with the satire - people who, in your presence will tell you, "hang on, I've got to take this call."
I've had some stare at me and talk, I couldn't see the bluetooth or hear the other person. Weird stuff, but it does help for buisness and while driving I guess
95% of bluetooth wearers i see are black.

people unseen are always more important than those seen. everybody would agree with that, a normal choice. not dismissive at all.

They're no safer for driving than using regular handsets (it's the person talking to you who's the distraction, not the specifics of the phone)
