Bringing in an MRAP would be overkill for such a small IED. This was probably just a handful of mortar shells or grenades, but this certainly is no 200lb bomb stuck in the dirt.

@demonof90 but basically it has a mounted glowplug out front of the vehicle that will set off any PIR devices before the vehicle drives over them. this can still fuck the vehicle but the guys should be ok. BTW i got this from a website no OPSEC info

u guys realize that they were in fact attempting to detonate the IED correct? the thing was supposed to explode, the hook was meant to lift the thing away from the humvee so the explosion gets channeled away from them, thats why it didnt do any damage

I've actually seen that on Youtube... some guy from Afghanistan made a video (of course with very bad English) Stating that American soldiers were raping, humiliating, and killing innocent people and all that kinda stuff when if you watch the video, it clearly goes against what he says... it says "America's superior Military might" and helping the civilians who need it and protecting them from Al-Quieda (They wait for the Marines to leave in the Mountains and go back and kill)

Just remember Air America and the opium traffic or the case of Oliver Norton dealing with guns and drugs with the contras in Nicaragua and Iran. There are docens of countries with real terrorists, but since those other countries have no oil or drugs neither US or the britts care.
